Pleiades is our monthly series that features womxn and non-binary musicians/improvisors and this month we’ll have two sets to open the night followed by an open jam! This month series curator Emily Beisel has arranged a Milwaukee and Chicago exchange of artists with the same show happening here at Elastic on August 13th and up in Milwaukee on August 18th! We love Milwaukee and are so glad to see this energy moving up and down Lake Michigan. We’ll have Milwaukee artists Mere of Light, Annie Grizzle, and Ophelia meeting up with Chicago artists and Elastic regulars Kim Alpert, Olula Negre, and Wannapa P-Eubanks.
