Graphic Notes is a printed risograph newsletter, published quarterly in tandem with Elastic's current visual art exhibition. It features images from the current visual arts exhibition, a list of upcoming performances, an essay or interview with the visual artist, a QR code that links to a special video or recording, and a Notes from the Director section about other programming at Elastic. Graphic Notes is intended to form a bridge between the visual arts and performing arts programming at Elastic and to provide a space for the Visual Arts Curator to write about each exhibition. The publication was originally designed by Sonnenzimmer and printed by Spudnik Press Cooperative. It is currently designed by Carol Genetti and printed at Perfectly Acceptable Press. Graphic Notes is available free to pick up at Elastic Arts during performances and gallery events. We also mail it to all members.
