Pleiades Series: Helen Money, Mai Sugimoto / Molly Jones Duo

Helen Money

Molly Jones / Mai Sugimoto

Pleiades is our monthly series that features womxn and non-binary musicians/improvisors and this month we’ll have two sets to open the night followed by an open jam! Starting the night out we’ll have a duo of two Elastic regulars Mai Sugimoto and Molly Jones. They’ll be utilizing woodwinds, percussion, and toys. Following we have one of Elastic Arts’ founders back on our stage, Allison Chesley aka Helen Money! Her unique brand of heavy cello electronics is beyond legendary and we’re honored to have them perform here for Pleiades. If you’d like to participate in the open jam (any femme / non-binary folks), please email pleiades@elasticarts.org
