Paperrr is a new project from five improvisers whose collective musical background spans the gamut of experimental music in Chicago. Their music moves seamlessly between chaotic electroacoustic free jazz, sparsely orchestrated static drones, and glitchy experimental rock. Their long-form improvisations make use of analog electronics, computer processing, kitchen silverware, and new instrumental techniques.

Burl is an improvising duo consisting of Adam Gabbert and Erik Sowa. The duo draws upon classical and world music in addition to free jazz to create short improvisatory pieces. Burl seeks to combine traditional techniques with modern approaches to develop new sounds and approaches to their instruments.
