Dark Matter Residency Applications Now Open
For over 25 years, Elastic Arts has presented adventurous creative programming across a wide variety of creative disciplines and genres from jazz, hip hop, classical, house, experimental, folk and world music to poetry, puppetry, film, performance art and installation art, as well as curating a visual art gallery as part of our performance space.
Since 2019, Elastic Arts' Dark Matter Residency has supported Chicago-based, emerging performing artists of color. The Residency provides artists with a flexible, functional space, a platform, and a network to help develop their work and careers.
We are now accepting applications for our 2025 Residency Cohort.
