We Series Chapter 4: Screens
We’ve reached the 4th and final chapter of the We Series run! Each Tuesday in January we’ve explored the topics of food, health, sleep, and next up — screens! Co-curators Deidre Huckabay and Lia Irene Kohl have presented video performances and experimental writings that blur the line between performance and reality. The writings are published by Sixty Inches From Center and the video works are broadcast from Elastic’s streaming page in the evening.
Chapter 4: Screens. Honoring screens and their role in connecting and separating us. Portals, mirrors, gateways, the internet, extended reality, virtual reality, time zones, sitelessness, spacelessness. There will be video works from Chengan Xia, Katinka Kleijn, and Norman Long. The chapter’s writings come from Sonnenzimmer and Jordan Martins. See you there!
