Sixty Inches from Center: Sonic Becomings

Join us for SIXTY ON STAGE: SONIC BECOMINGS, a night of music performances with artists featured in our editorial series Tuning Away from Mechanized Listening.

This edition of Sixty On Stage features interdisciplinary artist and experimental turntableist Allen Moore, the queer, non-binary and women-centered traditional maqam ensemble طَيْف , computer musician, improviser, programmer, and scientist Hugo Flores Garcia with Samuel Osorio, and a closing set by DJ Track Master Scott of WHPK!

To celebrate Sixty's sixteenth anniversary, Sixty on Stage: Sonic Becomings will also feature raffles of gifts from some of our favorite Midwest partners and artists; a flirty Find & Seek missed connections booth; and a mini music market featuring WHPK, BIYA BIYA, and Atmospheric Music Alliance!

Sliding scale tickets are $0-$60— all are welcome and no one will be turned away. All ticket sales and donations will support Sixty's publishing. RSVP at the link in bio!

This event will have ASL interpretation and we ask you wear a mask indoors- we'll have them available at the door. More accessibility details can be found at the event link.

Come celebrate local sounds and Sixty's sweet sixteen with us!
