About the Artists:

Tyler Wagner improvises music unaccompanied on the upright bass : : Known primarily for accompanying an ever growing list of artists and collaborators in Chicago, Tyler seeks to create complete musical mechanisms alone on the bass. This collaboration expands past the point of other musicians, now shaped by the performance space, the passage of time, and the shape of music itself ∞

Cinchel: Chicago based musician working with guitar, effects and laptop to create abstract ambient music that is both minimal and dense. My main focus has been the interaction of sounds/notes with themselves. With only the use of delay, layering and distortion I attempt to make a lot of guitars no longer sound like guitars.I like to call this minimal dense music for that reason.

Billie Howard: Billie Howard is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and sound artist. she composes experimental music that focuses on breathing cycles, chronic pain, and mediation on both quiet and extremely loud sounds. She holds a M.Mus. in piano performance and pedagogy from Northwestern University and B.A. in piano and violin performance from Montana State University. She is a 2021 3Arts Make a Wave grant recipient.

Neil Jendon: Synth, bass, guitar. Drones, ambiences, abstractions. Lots of stuff

when he does it's for real.
