Improvised Music Series: The Bridge x Trempo

For 12 years, The Bridge has been an exchange program for creative and improvised music, bringing French and Chicagoan musicians together on both sides of the Atlantic. This year, it is partnering with Trempo, a training organization for professional musicians, to offer a 10-days program on improvised music and the dynamics of collective creation in Chicago, under the educational direction of Fred Jackson Jr. The third piece of the puzzle is Elastic Arts, a versatile space dedicated to artistic experimentation. This is where the musicians of The Bridge #2.8 on tour and the Trempo interns will meet for an evening centered around improvisation as a space for freedom.
