Lorazepam
Jeff Goulet and Mickey Farès conjure electric guitar and voice into haunting new-age soundscapes, drifting from serene calm to jagged chaos. Sultry, commanding, and dangerously seductive, their performances lure you through a hypnotic journey of tension and desire.
Lorazepam is an experimental, improvised group prescribed to be taken aurally to enhance the activity of certain neurotransmitters in the brain. The chemical structure consists of Erik Sowa on drums and percussion, Erica Miller on cello and electronics, and Dan Hansen on effected vocals. Common side effects maybe include unusual feedback, severe syncopation, and sudden harmonic shifts. Lorazepam may be habit-forming.

About the Artists
Mickey Farès is a Chicago-based singer and improviser whose voice drifts between worlds, carrying the ancestral echoes of Venezuela, Spain, and Lebanon. Classical training bends into untamed, sensuous shapes, weaving textures that shimmer, swell, and linger. Drawing from free improvisation and the spell of Spanish folkloric song, her performances become living siren myths—breath, cry, and resonance pulling listeners into a charged, shared field of presence.
Jeffrey Goulet: Experimental. Guitarist and Drummer. Improvisor and Composer. Currently a member of In Masks, Lovely Little Girls (Skin Graft), Taste Rubber (Already Dead Tapes), Larvavision (Lurker Bias), and Pet Peeves (Orb Tapes).
