Femi Shonuga-Fleming discusses the cybernetics of afrosurrealism through space forward synthesis, diy electronics and live coding languages. Through installations, documentation, and ritual sonic acts, Sadnoise investigates how sound systems, landscapes, and digital networks can become spaces for collective listening and reflection. Femi approaches sound in conversation with architectural design as a political intervention enacted through vibration, embodied experience, and spatial interaction. Notable performances include the Sonic Acts Biennial (2026, NL), Waterworks Festival (2024, MA), and Ende Tymes (2022, NY), among others.
