The CLEAT Series focuses on work composed for the 16-channel speaker system in our space, allowing audiences to experience different approaches to spatial audio. This month is curated by guest curator Obe and will be a later evening edition of CLEAT with doors opening at 9:00pm, and music beginning at 10pm. The night will focus on dark electronics, downtempo, ambient, and techno. The chairs will be cleared, lights down low, and the speakers will be turned up. The night will have solo sets from Chicago artists Dalibor Cruz, Max Buzone, Obe, and Leaf Miner.

Artist Bios

Max Buzone is an artist based in Chicago, recording glitch and minimal techno with a classical influence. Originally from Miami, FL, he released his first record through Schematic Music Company in 2021.

Dalibor Cruz produces downtempo/left-field rhythmic atmos accompanied by erratic sampling and on-the-go effects processing.

Leaf Miner composes by taking apart samples and previously recorded material, then gluing it back together, reanimating, a sort of palimpsest
