About Exhale

Exhale is an album of original instrumental music by Caitlin Edwards, released August 15, 2021. Caitlin is a classically trained violinist but is strongly influenced by gospel, r&b, and neo-soul music. She combines the classical sound of violin with the soul and harmonies of these genres to create a journey through her mind and heart during the pandemic. Caitlin records layers of violin tracks and improvisation over drum/piano/bass tracks that she helped create, throughout the album. She is joined on this album with Cremaine Booker (ThatCelloGuy), pianist Matt Jones, bassist Caleb Edwards, pianist Edward Smith, and bassist Brian Allen. Exhale was submitted in the first round for GRAMMY® consideration this year. Listen to the album through your preferred streaming platform at https://ffm.to/caitlinedwards.ois  Find out more about  Caitlin through her website at www.caitlinedwards.com  and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ViolinistCaite/
