A night at Elastic Arts exploring the vibrant world of Andrés Crovetti, a multiplicitous musical man about town. Andrés will open solo, premiering new songs and experimenting with intersections of music, comedy, and storytelling. Following will be a full band performance of the genre-fluid improvisatory soundscapes of Andrés’ first solo record “Instead Of”. Initially released in 2019, this will mark its 5 year anniversary and Chicago premier with a new lineup and re-imagination of the works, including live recording and streaming. Artist Bio

Andrés Crovetti is a musician, songwriter, producer, and creative being who calls Chicago home. A sonic storyteller shaped by his Midwestern and Second-Generation Venezuelan upbringing, Andrés is dedicated to conjuring worlds that resonate with the essence of our human experience— meant to be inhabited and explored. Synthesizing elements of pop, rock, South American, electronic, and improvised music, Andrés creates atmospheres that are a sanctuary of nostalgia, reflection, joy, peace, and just the right amounts of chaos. Aside from composing, producing, and performing his own work, Andrés maintains regular musical collaborations, recording projects, service industry jobs, and performs regularly as bassist with Cabeza de Chivo. www.andrescrovetti.com
