“Graffito” is the 2014 feature film about a revolutionary street graffiti artist in Chicago waging a war of aesthetics against the capitalists. “Graffito” was produced with a budget of only $2,000 and over 125 actors, artists, musicians, and filmmakers worked on the film. The film’s composer, John Sutton, has assembled a quartet of Chicago musicians (“The Compassionate Rage Ensemble”) to provide a live-score to the film. The performance will include an all-new musical prelude as well as improvised sections throughout the film screening.
