Alumni of the 2015 Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra, who recently scattered across the globe after three intense weeks of shared performance experience in early September, reunite in Chicago to collaborate once again. Members from the Detroit and Chicago areas will join forces over the course of three fifteen-minute sets to improvise using poetry, perform original tunes, and premiere a new piece by composer Neal Markowski. Complementing the show with a Sunday night lullaby will be Chicago-based Absolute Paradise, sending us off with another short set of sweet singer-songwriter music.
