Ecce Shnak (Brooklyn), Lilac, Practical Flats & Ozzuario$10NYC's Ecce Shnak, on tour in support of their recent album Joke Oso, link up with some of Chicago's finest noisemakers for a night of general chaos.
Ecce Shnak (pronounced Eh-kay sh-knock) is a 7-piece art-rock band. We’re based in NYC. We’re one part pop music, another part classical music, and a third part punk music. Our songs are about love, sex, death, change, bravery, and food.
Born from the ashes of local sludge-metal/noise-rock freaks Cacaw, guitarist-vocalist Anya Davidson reemerges after a strong hiatus to create the noisy four-piece LILAC. Consisting of Baltimore transplants Chris Day on bass, Conor Stechschulte on guitar (both of defunct doomy noise-psych band Witch Hat) and Kenny Rasmussen of Anatomy of Habit on drums, LILAC aims to deliver noise-rock quicker, punchier and harder than ever before.
Practical Flats is an experimental rock quartet consisting of Jill Flanagan (Forced Into Femininity), Amber Marsh, Ronnie Hyde, and Gina Daville.
Ozzuario (Spanish for a crypt of dried bones), is a mysterious collective fusing black metal, industrial and punk from the midwestern wastelands. Inspired by the collapse of modern civilization, the inevitability of nuclear war, and the internal chaos of depression.
